Reeds – Earrings, Pendant or Set

The Reed pattern I am using reminds me of reeds growing in estuaries. The pattern is photo-etched, then embossed onto copper. The copper is cut into discs and domed.

The pieces are then painted with an underglaze before enameled. Finally, the discs are bezel set in silver with the same pattern on it. It is meant to seem as if the pattern extends through the enamel onto the silver behind it, for both pendant and earrings.

The pendant measures 1", and is offered with an 18" necklace. The necklace can be ordered shorter or longer, if desired. Contact AH Crafts for more details. The 1.2mm snake chain has lobster clasp and is made in the USA.

The earrings measure 3/4".
