Seafire Small World Globes

The Seafire Small World is a geographically accurate globe of the Earth made from curved stoneware tiles fired to 2200° F and fixed onto a rigid polyurethane foam and wood base.

The tiles include beach sand from the Atlantic barrier islands and local ‘native’ clay in the glazes. Each globe is signed, dated, and numbered by the artist, and the tiles often have small aesthetic glaze variations which make each piece unique.

The Seafire globes are available in 21-22 inch diameter, and with a metal stand, are suitable in an outdoor setting. Larger globes are available on request. Handmade by David Crane in Virginia.
