Patricia Wyeth
I retired from business in New York City 12 years ago. I had never been to Maine before and knew no one here, but fell in love with the beauty of the rocky coast. I bought a little cottage on a cliff overlooking Passamaquoddy Bay. There, I decide to pursue my long time interest in quilting and rug making. I had purchased an old antique rag rug at a barn sale years ago and decided to copy it. Changing the colors in the rugs to bring them up to date and still keeping that old time feeling is a balancing act. In addition to rug making I make quilts only from scraps of leftover material which I collect from all my friends and thrift shops.
Fabulous for anywhere in your home, these rag rugs are made of 100% cotton fabric. These oval rugs are sized at 27”x36”. Handcrafted by Pat Wyeth in Maine.
