Wheel thrown stoneware ceramic lidded jar with porcelain slip, decorated with the impression of a real botanical specimen, and a hand-pressed church-key pattern at rim, base and lid. In poppy red glaze with red iron oxide wash and black trim. Botanical specimens will vary seasonally.
Size is approximately 6 x 5½ x 5½". Each piece is signed on the bottom by Suzanne Crane. Made in Virginia.
